About Us
Casacorvo is our townhouse holiday home, situated on the edge of the development of Borgo di Gaiole, overlooking the village of Gaiole in Chianti. For us, the best thing about Casacorvo is it's location; we can enjoy fantastic views over the village to Barbischio and the Chianti Hills beyond in a quiet, truly semi-rural setting, yet only five minutes walk away are all the facilities you need from a small town. Then to cap things off, in the Borgo we can enjoy modern facilities including the 25 metre pool, gym and table tennis.
On the upper level we have a beautiful three double bedroom apartment which we rent on a commercial basis whenever the family are not 'in residence'!. On the lower level, we have a fully self contained one double bedroom apartment with a lounge sofa bed, fully equipped for four people and available throughout the year. Both apartments have their own private gardens and dining terraces enjoying beautiful views over the Chianti Hills. Our small apartment is available all year round, and when available, the apartments can be combined to make a four bedroom, three bathroom town house for large groups.
That little bit extra........
We try that little bit harder to add that little bit extra to make your Chianti holiday that little bit extra special. Our apartments are full of little touches that we hope will make you feel 'home from home'. Picnic hampers, espresso coffee machines, and personally prepared hiking notes are among our additions.
We have free to use cycles and artists equipment, exclusive to our clients; and there is a 25m pool, fully equipped gym, table tennis table and laundry in the complex. New for 2020, we have installed an EV charge point for the exclusive use of our guest in our private parking bay.
We are happy to help arrange cooking classes in local restaurants, provide arrangements for 'in-house' catering, or give advice on local photographic tours or classes, or arrange local Vespa scooter hire!
Our local agents are Chianti Estates, who provide a 'meet & greet' service for us. Caretaker, Lampo is one of Gaiole's best known 'locals', and his limited English more than compensated for by his enthusiasm! Benedetta will pay you a quick visit early in your stay to check everything is OK.
